Public Star Gazing Event at Klondike Park
More than 100 people viewed the Sun and Stars at the event in Klondike Park (98 were registered before it got too dark to keep track). We started early with a picnic and time to set up telescopes. The Sun was visible early on through a Solarscope (projection device) and Cook’s H-alpha scope but only two very small sunspots were visible.
