Venus Images using a 12-inch Newtonian Telescope

| Venus on the evening of Apr 29, 2007 at 21:06 CDT. The entire planet is always totally cloud covered. But cloud bands can be imaged when the seeing is steady using an ultraviolet filter and a sensitive camera. Jim Melka | Venus on the evening of Apr 16, 2007 at 21:05 CDT.
