Astronomy program presented to 135 fifth graders plus about 20 conselors and teachers at Camp Sherwood Forest in Cuivre River State Park. As it was cloudy and rainy, we presented a slide program on cosmology.

The regular monthly meeting of the Digital SIG started at 7:00 pm at the Weldon Spring Interpretive Site. Eight people were in attendance. We looked at some Mars images taken by Jim Melka and Jim Roe with their ToUcam cameras the same morning. Mars is less than 11 arcsec in diameter, but the detail possible is astounding (at least to old hands who remember the old days).
